Disability Access

The practice has disabled access at the front of the building, along with disabled parking bays in the main car park.

There are facilities at the surgery for wheelchair access and a toilet large enough for wheelchairs.

The practice has a loop system fitted for our patients using hearing aids.

We are able to call patients in for their appointments using display boards and/or a tannoy system.

This website is compliant for those with visual and hearing impairment.

The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1995 gives disabled people important rights of access to health services and social services, such as doctors’ surgeries, dental surgeries, hospitals and mobile screening units.

The DDA also means that you have a right to information about healthcare and social services in a format that is accessible to you where it is reasonable for the service provider to provide it in that format. For example, forms and explanatory literature in large print to assist people with visual impairments.

If you need additional assistance from us, please speak to a member of staff who will help you. Alternatively you may wish to give your carer consent to speak to us on your behalf.
